Flaky Pie Crust

Here is my recipe for the best, flakiest pie crust ever. Don't be fooled by imitations, this recipe works every time and never disappoints.

Flaky Pie Crust

1 1/4 cup of AP flour

1/4 tsp salt

1/2 cup chilled shortening, I use the crisco sticks

3 tbsp water

Whisk flour and salt. Cut in shortening until pea-size crumbles form. Drizzle water over mixture and stir until a ball forms. Place ball on piece of saran wrap and wrap tightly. Store in fridge for at least 30 minutes before rolling out.
