The recipe: homemade facial masks

Today I offer you not one, but two easy make-at-home facial masks: honey-oatmeal and chamomile-almond. The honey-oatmeal mask is great for dry or sensitive skin types while the almonds and bran in the chammy mask work gently to exfoliate the skin.

Honey-Oatmeal Mask
3/4 cup oats, finely processed
5 tbsps honey
small jar

In a medium bowl, combine honey and oats to form a paste. Transfer to the small jar.

Chamomile Almond Mask
1/2 cup boiling water
1 tbps dried chamomile flowers or tea from 2 chamomile tea bags
2 tbsps bran
2 tbsps finely ground almonds
1 tbsp honey
small jar

Pour hot water over flowers or tea and let stand for 30 minutes. Strain mixture through a sieve set over a bowl. Transfer 3 tbsps of the strained liquid to a small bowl. Add bran, almonds, and honey. Mix well and transfer to a small jar.

After liberally applying masks, let set for 10 minutes. Rinse with warm water.
