A campin' we will go....
We are going camping this weekend with Rockin' Rob up at Hillsborough River State Park. I am really looking forward to this getaway and hoping that Rob doesn't get up in the middle of the night and ditch us again because he is too hot, too cold, too buggy, not buggy enough. You get the picture.
The weather is supposed to be gorgeous with highs in the mid 60's and lows in the 40's. Perfect camping weather in my opinion. I already have the menus planned and the steaks are chilling out in the freezer until Thursday night marinade time. It feels like and actually has been ages since we have gone camping. Seems like life gets in the way of doing the things we really love. That has got to stop.
Anywho.
Tobey's brother did not get his trach installation as he now has a low-grade fever. He is still in a medically induced coma and they are hoping that today they can do the trach and wake him up. Keep your fingers crossed. The doctors are very positive that he is going to be fine but will need to stay a few weeks in ICU. So next time you hit your knees, please remember him and his family.

Your family will be in our prayers.
Love the Hillsborough State Park! A little tip, watch the squirrels. They are not afraid of anything and will rob you blind of food even if you just have your back turned. They are AGGRESSIVE little critters.

And the raccoons too! And picky eaters as well, apparently they aren't found of the dried mango that can be found in our trail mix. lol

Yeah yeah - Try not to pack up at 6 am this time...you'll disturb my beauty sleep, and we all know how much I need that.

But I thought you loved Bocelli in the morning - blaring from the Shrek speakers...

Ya'all might want to check your gear too....it might fall apart from non-use.

Well...well...at least our gear has never been submerged before!
